According to the world news, price of oil has risen by more than a dollar a barrel after surveys suggested strong manufacturing growth in both the US and the eurozone. The Institute of Supply Management (ISM) said US manufacturing grew in December at its fastest pace since May.
US light crude rose by $1.08 to $95.8 a barrel, while London Brent rose 94 cents to $95.83, before both slipped back to end the day slightly up. Also, cold weather has pushed the price of oil higher in recent weeks.
The ISM said that its index of manufacturing activity rose to 57 in December, up from 56.6 the previous month. Any reading over 50 suggests growth in the sector. “All told, the December ISM index is consistent with a manufacturing industry on solid footing and an economy that re-accelerated in the fourth quarter,” said Ryan Sweet at Moody’s Analytics.
December was the 17th month in a row that the sector grew, according to ISM. “We saw significant recovery for much of the US manufacturing sector in 2010,” said Norbert Ore, head of the group’s manufacturing business survey committee. Read more… »

One of the reasons my sister did not construct a garage is due to the difficulty of opening the door. She said it’s too heavy for a girl like her. Plus, her husband is not around all the time to do that for her. Also, she only has super girly housemaids. However, I can’t believe that reasoning as there is lots of garage door opener available in the market.
It’s true, it is a lot better to have a garage to protect the car from the weather especially for pricey car like hers. Oh well, even if I can’t figure her reasoning, all I can do is leave my mouth shut. She might think I meddle in her life too much. It’s better to leave her business since she has this crappy attitude sometimes. I don’t want to spark a fight with her this year.

Garlic has many uses, not including the basic ones in the food groups. When I was a child, my grandmother used garlic to worm her pets. This method is widely used throughout the country.
Take a small piece of a clove of garlic and give it to your pet the same way you would a worm pill. ( but without the usual period of hours starving your babies.)
Alternative: Use garlic powder (not garlic salt), sprinkle onto your pet’s food, the way you would salt and pepper your food. It is reported that garlic has been used by people for years to lower blood pressure and thin the blood.

Oh my it’s 2011 already. Time flies really fast. I’m just happy since my wait is almost over now that’s why I am preparing to grab one of those healthcare jobs. I waited a long time to get a nice work in the healthcare industry and I am hoping I’m lucky this year.
I already do some research over healthcare job listing sites. Of course, I did not apply to any position yet since my chances of getting employed is too little for now. I will wait for the right time and that time will probably be on the mid of this year. For now, I will just take everything easy in order not to disappoint myself.

Like I said in my previous post, I’m having difficulties finding a job that suits my qualifications. I’m just lucky I have some sidelines that can suffice our need. But, I’m still eager to be part of the working world so I could practice my profession and to earn higher than what I’m getting now. For sure, having some regular work will help me increase my net worth. By that I will be able to buy gold bullion or any other things as an investment.
Speaking of gold, just like any other people, I’m also fascinated with the beauty and magic of gold, and with its power to change men’s lives. Today, the beauty of a gold bar lies in its proven ability to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one’s purchasing power. It is already considered an investment product.
