Over-the-counter H-2-receptor blockers, such as cimetidine (Tagamet HB), famotidine (Pepcid AC), nizatidine (Axid AR) or ranitidine (Zantac 75), are available at half the strength of their prescription versions. Instead of neutralizing the acid, these medications reduce the production of acid. They don’t act as quickly as antacids, but they provide longer relief. Take these medications before a meal that you think may cause heartburn because it takes those about 30 minutes to work. They’re also effective in reducing reflux at night if taken at bedtime. Some H-2-receptor blockers can cause infrequent side effects, including dizziness, diarrhea, headache, kidney problems and temporary breast enlargement in men. In rare instances they can also react dangerously with other medications.
Elevation of the upper body at night generally is recommended for all patients with GERD. Nevertheless, most patients with GERD have reflux only during the day and elevation at night is of little benefit for them. It is not possible to know for certain which patients will benefit from elevation at night unless acid testing clearly demonstrates night reflux. However, patients who have heartburn, regurgitation, or other symptoms of GERD at night are probably experiencing reflux at night and definitely should use upper body elevation. Reflux also occurs less frequently when patients lie on their left rather than their right sides.
Patients with mild symptoms are treated as needed with non-prescription remedies like antacids, a non-prescription H2 blocker, or the non-prescription proton pump inhibitor (PPI), omeprazole (brand name: Prilosec OTC). For patients with more severe symptoms, or for those who do not respond adequately to non-prescription therapies, continuous treatment with a prescription-strength H2 blocker or PPI is recommended. H2 blockers and PPIs both work by decreasing the production of stomach acid that causes many of the symptoms of gerd. Read more… »

The month of February is coming, which means prom nights. Speaking of which, it reminds me of my high school days when I get a chance to join the prom. Of course, as excited as I am I did not miss the chance. Besides, it will be my first time to dance a girl and probably get a yes from the apple of my eye.
A lot of ladies wore their prom dresses, which eventually grab my attention. I guess it’s important to have nice dress for that occasion. Lucky me, I don’t have to think about that. I can just wear a comfortable suit and I’m ready to go. For my lady friends well, they have to stick their noses looking for the best dress that takes days.
I’m sure that painstaking day will not happen to my youngest sister. Well, she is still in primary school so it will be long before she thinks of prom. But, I will take note of TJformal store. I appreciate the kind of dresses available, which would surely fit my beloved sis. For now, I’ll just keep an eye on it.

It’s been a hectic two days for me and wifey; two straight days of pure work from seven in the morning down to 12 in the evening. We just stopped working to eat and back to work. What would you expect from it? Both of us are drained and exhausted. Good thing those days are over.
For this day, wifey slept the whole morning. She did wake up to eat some breakfast, but bounce back to her bed for few more hours. She wakes up at around one in the afternoon for her lunch. Well, its rest she deserves so I just let her sleep although there is few remaining work to do.
But, she did not start to work after getting enough sleep. She surfs around the web and read some articles over different topics including colon cleanse, wrinkle creams and so on. I guess it’s one way to get new inspirations and ideas for her to start hitting the buttons in her keyboard. It was after dinner where she said: “it’s time to work.” Well, I guess that is too odd for other working gals.

According to the report, two Chinese state controlled banks have lent more to developing countries than the World Bank. The China Development Bank and the China Export Import Bank offered loans of at least $110 bn to governments and firms in developing countries in 2009 and 2010.
The research was undertaken by the Financial Times newspaper. Between mid-2008 and mid-2010, the World Bank’s lending arm issued loans of just over $100bn. The two Chinese banks do not publish a detailed breakdown of their overseas loans, so this research is based on public announcements about specific deals from them, their borrowers or the Chinese government.
The Chinese lenders are so-called policy banks – they have a mandate to further whatever Beijing sees as its national interest. One of China Development Bank’s specific tasks is to try to alleviate and, where possible, eliminate bottlenecks in supplies of raw materials or land for China’s economy. It also tries to open up foreign markets for Chinese companies.
Chinese banks were offering loans to producers of raw materials at a time when it was hard for them to attract financing from elsewhere. That helped secure long-term energy deals, including oil supplies from Russia, Venezuela and Brazil. The Chinese government, which is sitting on $2 trillion (£1.26 trillion) of foreign exchange reserves, has ample amounts of cash to fund loans which help promote its strategic objectives. Everyone deserves a vacation wherein one can enjoy relaxation. That is what I am trying to tell wifey as tends to ignore the benefits vacation can offer. She keeps on plunging her head on the computer doing some work all day long. When she has free time, she will still sit in front of her computer and play some online games. It seems like the computer suck the life in her.
For sure it will be in no time she will get exhausted, stressed and burned out. Taking time to enjoy and have some life is the remedy for it. Actually, I was looking at the different Outer Banks rentals just this day. I wanted to spend the summer with her in a place where she can forget about her laptop.
As far as I can remember, it’s been two years since our last vacation. She cancels our plan last year over something, which I understand. But, I can’t take that now. I will make sure we will for a vacation.
The month of January will soon come to an end. Yet, I haven’t started actualizing my resolution. It seems like I have all the reasons in the world not to. It gives me a creep thinking I will blow off my own plan. But, I did not do anything until I saw some photos of my sister in Facebook.
She really looks good and hot over her new size. She had lost a lot of weight. In fact, she is thinner than wifey who is five years younger than her. She used to have a body twice or thrice her size today, but that is history. Now she is enjoying her new bod and flaunting it to the entire world.
I guess it’s my turn to do my thing. I’ll just have to get some help from diet supplements. For sure, if used along with diet and exercise, the results will be better. Oh well, if you are also interested to lose weight, you can find diet supplements here. I will also do the same thing so I will find the best one that suits me.
