Traditional, contemporary and country are the three basic themes for bathroom decorating. Choose one based on your taste, desired look and budget.

Traditional styles can easily add elegance with floral fabrics, draperies on the window, or gold and silver accents. Use a traditional design to turn your bathroom or toilet area into a sanctuary. Although the result of traditional bathroom decorating can look expensive, you don’t need to buy expensive materials to capture the theme you want.

If your existing bathroom already has a traditional theme, you can update the look and feel of the room by going for contemporary designs. cupcakes instead of cake

Like I said in my earlier post, I’m also preparing for wifey’s birthday celebration. Now, I’m unsure whether to purchase standard cake or gourmet cupcakes. I know cupcakes are smaller version of cakes so it’s fairly the same. I just like them because serving is a breeze. No one needs to cut anything because it is served individually. Plus, they look cuter and can be arranged creatively. That being said I guess I will go for gourmet cupcakes of Sharis berries.

I will choose the Cupcake sampler from Sharis cupcake collection. The number is perfect plus we can try all three delicious cupcakes in one sampler. It comprises of 8 chocolate on chocolate, 4 vanilla bean and 4 red velvet. The chocolate on chocolate cupcakes feature dark chocolate cake topped with deep chocolate frosting. The vanilla bean cupcakes start with moist, buttery vanilla cake filled with a vanilla bean cream and finished with a buttery vanilla icing. Red Velvet cupcakes are made with an all-natural deep red cake with a creamy chocolate truffle center and cream cheese-buttermilk fluff frosting. I find it much better than having one regular cake for her special day.

making her birthday special

Everyone is counting the days before Christmas. I’m also doing that, but apart from that I’m also counting the days before wifey’s birthday. It also falls on the month of December; which makes it a double celebration. But, I can’t celebrate the two events simultaneously because wifey will surely feel bad. We have to make a birthday celebration besides Christmas is weeks away from her birthday.

This year may be the first year I will be receiving salary from my profession. In such case, I want to make her birthday more special by giving wonderful tulips from ProFlowers. Instead of rose, I prefer tulips for a change. I always use rose for a long time to be on the safe side though it still puts a smile on her face. This time I wonder what her expression would be like after receiving deluxe hugs and kisses with 12 gourmet dipped strawberries. Anyway, my only goal is to make her happy and feel special. With those goodies and flowers, I’m sure I can achieve such.

busy doing her nursing role

Sissy is way too busy with her new goal in life – to be a nurse. With perseverance and determination, she is about to finish her second course specifically next year. It’s just like yesterday when she started the course. Without realizing it, she is already wearing nursing scrubs and doing practice duty in the hospital.

Without a doubt, she is happy doing nursing activities. It takes her out of being a full-pledge housewife. It transforms her life into something fun and thrilling day by day. Of course, nothing can take her mother role for her two kids. Oh well, for sure in no time both of us will be called nurses. I just hope, before that time comes I will be able to practice my profession. I already miss doing those things.

vision for my future backyard

The weather is quite cold last night, without rain, which is perfect for outdoor hang out. But, since we don’t have an outdoor firepit, we can’t stay out. I thought it would be nice to have one especially on such weather. So, I created a vision for my future backyard landscape. It should be have a nice garden and furnished with patio furniture and outdoor fireplace. We can invite friends and family to come along and hang out whenever we want. But, I guess that will take a long time before it will happen.

For now, I will just enjoy whatever we have. I still need to save some more before I can buy my own house. Good thing, watching movies inside our room is still enjoyable although it’s quite mundane sometimes.

gift to make her happy

For almost two days, wifey isn’t feeling alright. She’s not sick, but she just lies down in bed. I thought it’s time for me to do something like giving her things she likes. Giving her gifts on ordinary days will make her happy, I’ve done it before. For that, there’s one thing that fits perfectly right – sweets. Yep, it will surely make her jump to happiness because she is a chocoholic. But, since she is on diet, it’s better pairing it with strawberries.

Lucky for me, I ran across the Sharis Berries a couple of months ago while I was looking for romantic gifts. It’s the best place to find a truly romantic and totally out-of-this-world sentimental gift. Even I want to try the scrumptious chocolate covered strawberries. Oh well, I’d better start picking my gift so she will be back to her normal self again.

step tool solve height issues

It’s indeed difficult for people not blessed with height to pick something placed on higher area. That is the reason Maya is dependent on us for that matter. She continually makes that kind of request, which irritates me quite often. I’m also busy doing other things. Sometimes, she is asking me when I need an utmost concentration, which I will lose subsequently.

Wifey said to solve my problem I will need to buy step stools for adults; one for the kitchen and one for some other places. That way, she will no longer have to bother me or wifey to get something for her. She can just do the task herself any time and anywhere without our help. It gives her the independence she needs.

Oh well, I’d better start looking for that tool to put an end of her constant request.

buy digital camera for mom

For a long time, mom has been having interest over my Sony cybershot digital camera after learning I was able to buy DSLR camera. But, wifey takes hold of both cameras after I renounced my ownership of the two in place of my travel abroad. It’s essentially wifey’s cameras now and not mine so I can’t do anything to them unless she says so. Nonetheless, mom doesn’t know our kind of agreement that’s why she keeps on asking for it and I intend not to tell her in the first place.

To satisfy her request I decided to buy her new Caméscopes numériques. I just need to find one that won’t put a hole in my wallet. Then, I will consider it as her birthday present so not to make big deal out of it, besides I haven’t given her anything on her birthday last February so it suits the reasoning. Oh well, better start looking for the cheapest camera for mom, hopefully I’ll find something like that.

At last, wifey and I are already started doing some wedding preparations. We wanted to legalize everything before moving out of the country. Working abroad is part of our new plan after several attempts failed. But, it will be very difficult to go together if we have different last name. Tying the knot is the knot is the easiest way to do that.

However, we need to drop the idea of having a church wedding where the bride wears a beautiful gown accompanied by lovely ladies in pretty bridesmaid dresses. We don’t have budget for that kind of wedding for the moment although it is still part of our future plans. For now, we will just stick to a civil wedding with only two witnesses around. It’s the easiest, less stress and most of all it’s affordable; which greatly fits our current situation. Still, I assure wifey I will give her the wedding of her dreams in the nearest future.
