Yesterday, I learned from my mom that my sister’s father-in-law is in the ICU because of hypertension attack. This is the eight times he suffered from stroke because of high blood. The doctor’s no longer advice an operation because they no longer see a possibility that the patient will survive even after an operation. He is now under a mechanical ventilator to prolong his life until his only son arrives from abroad.
I guess this is the end of the line for him. It is a bit concerning because the main cause of his hypertension is sedentary lifestyle and obesity. Now, I’m more than determined to lose weight even if it means the use of weight loss products. I have to start doing it early to increase my chance of not getting the disease.
Anyway, I have to start fixing myself as I have to give the old man a visit. He once was so good to me. And I got close to him since I was the one who nurse him the first and second time he suffered from stroke. But, before that I still have to update this blog.
